Tiku Roemello Fisher contributed to the 3D conversion of The Walk (2015), the Robert Zemeckis film that recreated Philippe Petit’s legendary high-wire act between the Twin Towers. As part of the production team at Legend 3D Toronto, he helped manage artist teams tasked with elevating the film’s sense of height, realism, and immersive depth. His work supported the film’s visually stunning sequences, ensuring the audience fully experienced the vertigo-inducing tension central to the story.

Based on the book To Reach the Clouds by Philippe Petit, The Walk is a 2015 American biographical drama film directed by Robert Zemeckis, which tells the true story of French high-wire artist Philippe Petit’s daring 1974 walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.

The film is narrated by Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and chronicles his journey from a street performer in Paris to his obsession with the as-yet-unfinished World Trade Center towers. He assembles a diverse team of accomplices to help him pull off what he calls “the coup”—an illegal, secret plan to string a wire between the north and south towers and walk across it.

The narrative builds tension during the elaborate planning and execution stages, which involve sneaking equipment past security and rigging the wire under the cover of night. The climax features the breathtaking, 45-minute walk itself, where Petit performs for the crowds below, captivating the city and baffling the police before being arrested.
